The role of the Business Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and should have a strong financial background and good project management knowledge as well as an in-depth knowledge of the business and industry.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Assist the CFO with various functions ranging from pro-active financial analysis to business and increase the available time and agility of the CFO to focus his time, effort, and priorities on strategic initiatives.Act as a liaison between the CFO and other stakeholders both internal and external.Be responsible for all the data reporting needs within the business to integrate into Exco and board reports.Manage projects and ensure on-time delivery of action items within budget requirements.Prepare necessary documentation and presentations as required for internal and external audiences by prioritizing and validating information that facilitates sound decision-making.Evaluate commercial information and recommend compelling value propositions.Oversee and deliver on strategic projects in the office of the CFO as aligned to the company's strategic roadmap.Promote a service mentality and develop strong relationships with consumer, business and technology areas.Resolve problems and mediate disputes before they escalate to the CFO where possible.Facilitate the receipt and dissemination of key information by working closely with the CFO and the relevant leadership team.Represent the CFO in meetings and action decisions/deliverables as mandated from time to time.Conduct financial review/analysis and interpretation.Prepare executive summaries and updates on expenditure/cost against deliverables.Proactively engage relevant teams on operational and reporting items as required from time to time.Monitor and support the implementation of cost-saving initiatives.Ensure a sound reporting framework and good governance principles are in place and adhered to, in alignment with Company standards.Work with key stakeholders to design, develop, and implement an automated dashboard that displays the CFO's KPIs and is fit for purpose.Ensure business decisions are implemented and executed within the approved and accepted governance framework.Handle ad hoc requirements as necessary.Technical and Professional Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.7+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the retail sector.CPA or CFA certification is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent leadership and communication abilities.Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.Project management experience.Experience in a consumer or business credit environment will be an advantage.Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:Detailed understanding of governance and decision-making across the business.Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.Working knowledge of the fundamentals of financial analysis and budget process.Thorough understanding of the ICT/Telecommunications Market and in particular, products, services, technologies, and business processes.Strong business acumen.The Ideal Candidate:Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple priorities.Has a strategic mindset coupled with attention to detail.Demonstrates leadership potential and the ability to influence at all levels.Brings fresh perspectives and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.Has a passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package including health and retirement options.Professional development opportunities to keep your skills sharp.A collaborative, inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Deadline: 2024/09/30
