Business ManagerMinimum Requirements:
A relevant tertiary qualification such as a B.Com or Marketing degree.3-5 years of relevant experience in industries such as insurance, credit, loans, bill payments, fintech, tech products, or banking.A strong understanding of transactional banking products and the ability to generate revenue from them.Experience in the payments sector is a plus.Previous experience in a debit/credit card product environment is essential.Familiarity with the National Payments Systems.Experience in stock forecasting/management for tech products within financial services is advantageous.Proficient in product management, including financials, business case development, project management, and analysis.Intermediate proficiency in MS Office or G-Suite, with a focus on Excel or Google Sheets.Project management experience is desirable.Proven ability to manage multiple partners, stakeholders, and relationships effectively.Strong financial reporting, business case drafting, and numerical analysis skills.Competencies: Attention to detail, reliability, planning, support creation, situational awareness, drive, adaptability, and stress resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve financial targets for the fiscal year.Develop business cases to enhance the product portfolio.Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure all processes and products adhere to regulations.Negotiate agreements and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners.Work closely with the Legal team on new and existing contracts.Partner with the Marketing department to create impactful campaigns.Lead project management efforts, ensuring all projects are delivered within agreed timelines and in coordination with stakeholders.Maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.Ensure all administrative tasks are completed on time.Continuously negotiate and secure new products and services with partners.Drive continuous improvement and growth within the product portfolio.
