Business Manager / Data Analyst - George - Western CapeA retail pharmacy, with a branch in George, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Data Analyst / Business Manager to join their team.Job SummaryThe Data Analyst / Business Manager will be responsible for analyzing business data to support decision-making processes and improve operational efficiency. This role will involve managing and interpreting large datasets, identifying trends and opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance business performance within the retail pharmacy sector.RemunerationR12k - R20k (depending on experience and qualifications)Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis and Reporting:Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from various sources (sales, inventory, customer behavior, etc.).Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business strategy and operations.Business Management:Collaborate with various departments (sales, marketing, finance, operations) to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.Support the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business processes and recommend improvements.Inventory and Supply Chain Management:Analyze inventory levels and trends to optimize stock management and reduce excess inventory.Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure efficient order fulfillment and minimize stockouts.Forecast demand and support procurement planning.Customer Insights and Marketing Support:Analyze customer data to understand buying patterns and preferences.Provide insights to support targeted marketing campaigns and promotions.Measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and suggest improvements.Financial Analysis:Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.Analyze financial performance and identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.Support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Manager, preferably in the retail or pharmacy sector.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel).Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational and project management skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.Preferred Skills:Advanced / Expert knowledge on Excel (non-negotiable!)Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management principles.Familiarity with CRM and marketing analytics tools.Offered on package:Opportunities for professional growth and development.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Provided training.Please note that only candidates with the required experience will be considered and contacted.
