JOB PURPOSETo support and enhance the execution of the retailers' product & services strategy.
The Credit Account Manager will drive and implement practical opportunities and enhancements to improve overall turnover and account origination that are commercially viable.
The Credit Account Manager will work closely with stakeholders internally and externally to manage initiatives relating to the customer life cycle.
The Credit Account Manager will be responsible to manage the existing marketing team within the Commercial department.
New Business To support the Head of Commercial in the implementation of account and new product strategiesEnsure that the execution of the strategies are within budgetConsult different functional areas that influence the transformation and execution of the account and new product strategiesIdentify innovative opportunities, enhancements and business processesDraft / Review customer communicationCollaborate with Analytical partners (internal and external)Monitor and share insights with internal and external stakeholders TurnoverCollaborate with the Head of Commercial in the campaign ideation processPlanning of marketing and commercial activities in advanceCollaborate with Analytical partners (internal and external)Collaborate with IT regarding all technical aspects associated with the customer journeyEnsure that internal stakeholders are informed and well prepared for marketing initiativesMonitor campaigns and intervene if and when requiredEnsure customer communication is aligned with retailer's communication strategyEnsure timeous and accurate campaign executionEnsure consistent and regular campaign reporting CollateralEnsure marketing collateral is in line with internal strategy and budgetManage relationships with suppliersReview all marketing collateralMonitor expenses according to budgetManage and report on Service Level Agreements and deliveryEnsure optimum stock levelsEnsure orders are placed and delivered timeously Financial Review all invoicesReview all monthly reconciliations Reporting Formulate reporting requirements, in line with company KPI's – Adhoc and/or BAUBrief reporting requirements and collaborate with the relevant data analysts.Create / maintain reporting library ProjectsCoordinate marketing or commercial activities relating to any new company projectsEnsure marketing collateral is briefed, printed and delivered/published timeouslyGive support/input/guidance on product advertising/customer communicationDrive alignment internally and externally relating to any marketing or commercial activities linked to new projectsReview marketing material related to new projects GeneralImplement marketing strategy in line with company objectives.Ensure marketing creative is in line with marketing strategiesOversee brand management and corporate identity.Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communication and campaignsCollaborate with retailer's marketing and financial services departments when launching new products/campaigns.Maintain consistent and effective internal communication to ensure all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives and activitiesClosely working with technical team to ensure system efficiencies to ultimately improve the customer journeyCoordinate and oversees the creative development of collateralCommunicates with various advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects or new product launches come to fruition Team Leadership Provide visible and clear leadership to team, promoting a culture of high performance and customer focusCollaborate with and guide marketing team to ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns.Plan, direct and coordinate daily activities of the marketing teamConduct regular management and team meetings to ensure high levels of communication, teamwork, integration, motivation, training and productivityMaintain a department organisational structure, capacity (knowledge and skills) and career pathing sufficient to meet business strategies and operational targetsImplement and maintain people management practices in alignment with company policies Experience At least 5 years' experience in a similar roleAt least 5 years' experience in the Financial Services IndustryExperience/evidence of delivery and good performance within areas of accountability (application of knowledge & skill) Qualification Tertiary qualification in Business Management or Commerce qualification (Degree or Diploma) Functional Knowledge & Skills Ability to think creatively & innovatively within area of accountabilityAbility to work in a fast pace, deadline driven environmentSolid business acumen, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.Should be an active listener and learner.Understanding of Financial Services marketing or new business activitiesAdministration skillsStrong English communication skills (verbal & written) as well as presentation skillsStrong Computer Literacy (MS Office)Building and Maintaining relationships and able to function independentlyRespectful; Accountable and Passionate individualSound decision making skillsAbility to inspire & ignite optimistic, positive energyAbility to think & act systemicallyCapacity to collaborate, integrate & facilitate teamworkSelf-monitoring, personal management & self-disciplineLearning agility & adaptability Should you meet all the requirements and wish to apply, please send your latest CV and motivation to ******
