Job DescriptionTo evaluate, manage and approve complex credit risk within the area of responsibility by providing advice, recommendations, and support to internal stakeholders through the implementation of group credit mandates, risk frameworks, and methodologies.
To provide coaching and mentoring to relevant internal (Business Judgemental Credit Manager I) and external teams (Relationship Managers).
Are you someone who can: Evaluate, manage and approve credit risk within the Medium Corporate segment by providing advice and support through the implementation of group credit mandates, risk frameworks, and methodologiesDevelop and manage key stakeholder relationships that enable achievement of operational objectivesEnsure compliance with legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processesKnowledge of Credit SystemsResponsible application of allocated Judgmental Credit mandateAssess and approve credit in terms of approved mandate to minimize Credit Risk to the business and manage the credit approval processApprove or recommend counterparty exposure across multiple productsManage credit risk at origination and on an ongoing basisManage respective portfolio within the business's budget and bad debt highwayContinuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriateDrive customer service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards and in support of operational objectivesYou will be an ideal candidate if you: BComm FinancePreferred Qualification - CA (SA)/CFA2 Years banking experienceAbility to bring in new business and increase acquisitionStrong judgmental credit experienceBuild and maintain stakeholder relationships experience (any segment)You will have access to: Opportunities to network and collaborateA challenging working environmentOpportunities to innovateWe can be a match if you are: Ability to interpret financial statementsStrong credit experience and negotiation skillsBuild and maintain stakeholder relationships experience (any segment)Strong collaboration skillsPortfolio management experience (credit)AnalyticalFinancial acumenAttention to detailTechnology savvyAre you interested to take the step?
