Job Title: Business Intelligence Engineer Location: Western Cape, City of Cape Town, Cape Town Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Engineering Salary: ZAR4500 - ZAR5300 Per month Job Description: The Business Intelligence Engineer is an integral part of a team responsible for developing and supporting custom solutions aimed at enhancing the efficiency of our client's asset care services.
Job Duties: Designing and implementing business intelligence solutions Developing reports using various reporting tools Utilising PostgreSQL RDBMS or Microsoft SQL for data analysis Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements Providing technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions Required Qualifications: Minimum qualification Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Preferred qualification Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Proven experience in coding and designing business intelligence solutions Familiarity with at least one reporting tool Minimum requirements: Between the ages of 18 - 34 0-12 months related working experience African Have not taken part in the YES program previously Unemployed Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of data analysis and visualisation techniques Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Intelligence or related field Certifications in relevant BI tools Experience with ETL processes Working Conditions: This role is based in Cape Town and may require occasional travel to client sites.
The Business Intelligence Engineer is expected to work full-time hours on a contract basis, with potential for extension based on performance and project requirements.
