Type: 12-Month Renewable Contract
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Insights Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, conducting statistical analysis on complex datasets, and contributing to the development of AI/ML models. This role is pivotal for supporting data-driven decision-making and providing high-quality business intelligence and analysis to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Team Management: Lead and manage the team, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve people and team conflicts effectively.
Statistical Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis to derive insights from complex datasets to support data-driven decision-making.
AI/ML Strategy: Contribute to shaping the organization's AI/ML strategy, including the development of new AI/ML models.
Dashboard Development: Develop, maintain, and refine monthly dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
Data Interpretation: Understand, interpret, and present financial, client, and other data clearly and accurately.
Business Intelligence: Consolidate, analyze, and interpret data to provide high-quality business intelligence and analysis.
Stakeholder Support: Assist stakeholders with data insights, query resolution, and ad hoc analysis.
Reporting: Produce targeted reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommendations for stakeholder decision-making.
Strategic Insight: Solve stakeholder needs and drive business strategy through data analysis and interpretation on strategic issues and business challenges.
Training: Train stakeholders on using business intelligence tools to aid in their decision-making processes.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes and systems, recommending effective ways to operate and add value to CIB.

Essential Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in a financial or analytical role within the financial industry.
Education: Professional Qualifications/Honours Degree (NQF Level).
Certifications: CA, CFA, FRM.
Excellent analytical and statistical skills.
Proficiency in AI/ML model development.
Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI.
