To provide appropriate risk and investment advice for Clients through virtual channels, adhering to FAIS Compliance requirements and the FirstRand Product Matrix and Advice Philosophy.
Responsibilities:
Achieve previously determined sales targets across the business by identifying opportunities to advise on FirstRand investment and risk products.
Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders in order to achieve productivity synergies.
Identify new business opportunities that impact the industry and record and forward these leads to the appropriate product house to ensure cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
Deliver exceptional Financial Advice to FNB Customers that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
Manage new clients, personal portfolios, and identify specific needs and goals in respect of financial advice.
Manage existing clients and grow the portfolio through making contact with customers, generating leads, and managing the growth of the active customer account base to increase the client base.
Achievement of key performance indicators as determined by the business.
Maintenance of expert knowledge on all FirstRand products, application procedures, processing, and timelines to drive and achieve relevant sales targets.
Virtually assist clients in formulating proposals by using the correct tools and Advice philosophy.
Check all progress on a daily basis to ensure new business applications are closed within appropriate timelines.
Ensure adherence to relevant processes and compliance with legislative and audit requirements. Manage high volume and less complex deals.
Keep up to date with own area of expertise to develop and maintain own professional knowledge base in order to provide effective support and advice.
Requirements:
Relevant Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Investment Management.
RE 5. Certified Financial Planner.
In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA), candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check.
CFP (Post grad in Financial Planning)
All relevant FAIS CAT's (Not under supervision)
3-5 years experience in Commercial/Business Financial Planning
FPI member or Professional related body
We need a candidate fully bilingual in English/Afrikaans
Experience:
3 to 5 years' experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level.
Experience in sales, investment, and risk acumen.
Experience within the Financial Services Sector together with the relevant preferred qualification.
Person must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent.
Experience in Shariah law, products & advice would be a bonus or beneficial.
