CORE PURPOSE The purpose of this position is to manage the Business Development team duties and responsibilities and achievement of business development sales targets. The role requires one to provide the necessary guidance and support to the relevant teams within the reporting line.
CORE FUNCTIONS Provide assistance to the management team.Execution of administration and academic projects.Implementation of the necessary processes at the Learning Centre.Submission of relevant dashboard reporting to the management team.Provide support and guidance to the administration team.Assist with the relevant operations at the Learning Centre.QUALIFICATION(S)Grade 12 Senior CertificateSales and Marketing Programmes (short learning or formal programmes)EXPERIENCEMinimum 5 years of work experience in a sales environment and roleMinimum 3 years of work experience in a sales leadership roleAn understanding of team management within a sales environmentA proven track record of sales target achievement in previous rolesHold the appropriate leadership skillsAdministrative skills and report writingRELATED KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLSBasic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)Attention to detail and sound time management skillsWell-versed in business administration best practicesUnderstanding of the higher education environmentUnderstanding of the sales environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProactiveAbility to motivate staff to excel at their jobsMust be able to multi-taskConsulting and engaging with appropriate stakeholdersStatistical efficiencyExcellent communication and writing skillsProficient in MS OfficePlanning, organising and negotiating skills
