RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:•10 years' experience in the steel industry - with good broad market & product knowledge.•Business Development & Sales experience in the Mining industry, is a pre-requisite.•Tender and Project experience would be required.•Well connected in the North west provinceMINIMUM QUALIFICATION:•Grade 12 Certificate•Valid Driver's License•Degree in Sales/Marketing would be advantageous or candidates studying towards a BCOM Degree.BEHAVIORAL SKILLS:•Ability to network effectively.•Ability to produce results whilst under pressure.•Dynamic, energetic, proactive, and driven personality.•Adaptable to a changing environment and market.•A professional demeanor.•Ability to work independently in a team environment.•Self-starter, motivated, opportunistic, creative, and ambitious.TECHNICAL SKILLS•Computer literate (MS Office, Outlook & Excel).•Microsoft Dynamics knowledge would be advantageous.•Strong Steel Product knowledge.•Proven sales record.PRIMARY FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:To hit the relevant targets & goals set out for the designated marketKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:•Strategic selling that supports the Isilo Steel business plan.•Complete management of tender processes, as required•Negotiation of price, supply and terms.•Management of debtor's risk and credit terms.•Review of customer statements, payments, price claims.•Building long term relationships with key customers and suppliers•Developing knowledge of core products, pricing, suppliers•Keeping up to date and understanding the D365 system•Taking full responsibility for unallocated stock associated with specific deals#J-18808-Ljbffr
