Our client in the Automotive Industry is looking for a Business Development Specialist with automotive experience to join their team in the Johannesburg North area.Minimum requirements:Diploma in Business Administration and/or Financial related qualificationAt least 5 years of work experience in the Automotive industry, Sales and Marketing relatedKnowledge of the South African Automotive marketDealer network experienceAdvanced ExcelResponsibilities:Promote and facilitate new contracts with fleet and rental companies to expand business opportunities.Liaise and coordinate with government departments, particularly for RT57 tenders, to ensure compliance and foster partnership.Support key projects, contributing to their successful execution and alignment with company goals.Collaborate with potential business partners/companies for future EV vehicles initiatives, building strong relationships.Promote company products to corporate business/ clients, enhancing market presence and sales.Participate in monthly strategic meetings.Analyse business and production data, monitor portfolio performance, prepare feedback reports and track industry trends.Address and rectify service issues where good service has been compromised.Develop and facilitate communications between key customers & OEM, ensuring smooth information flow.Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers, establishing credibility through consistent communications.Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.Monitor and track industry trends to stay ahead of market changes.Support the achievement of monthly and yearly targets for the company by implementing strategic plans.Provide ongoing product information.Focus on retention and expansion of Key Client Relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.Advise on dynamic situations, risks and issues to inform volume forecasts and strategic decisions.Conducts presentations.Develop and maintain a professional network to support corporate objectives related to profitability, growth, market share, and quality in the SA automotive retail sector.Accompanying company or department heads to business events, providing translation serviceswhen needed.Proofread of contracts and agreements for the department to ensure accuracy and compliance.Take and distribute minutes of meetings to ensure proper documentation and follow-up on action items.Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall business development efforts.Apply now!
