We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist for our client's rapidly growing FMCG SAAS company, Remote (anywhere in SA) This position is responsible for driving business growth by creating and implementing innovative sales strategies to attract new clients, managing client relationships, and maximizing sales to achieve our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the growth of sales by creating new opportunities and acquiring new customers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to win new business.
- Maintain accurate records of all business development activities.
- Prospect for potential clients using platforms like LinkedIn and conduct market research.
- Manage and track leads, create proposals, and present to clients.
- Recommend solutions to any difficulties faced by the clients.
- Identify current market trends and suggest product enhancements.
- Research competitor products and share insights with the team.
- Meet or exceed the agreed sales targets.
- Perform live demo and training to new and existing clients.
- Handle system implementation, training, and account management.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and influential people in the trade.
Qualifications: - 3 - 5 years experience in B2B sales, ideally within FMCG industries.
- Previous experience in software sales would be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal communication, relationship building and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent sales execution and client management abilities.
- Detail-oriented and possesses strong administrative capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Must have own car.
