OverviewHire Resolve is on the lookout for an experienced Business Development Specialist with a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering for a prominent electric utility company. In this critical role, you will spearhead business development and sales strategies aimed at achieving over 100 million rand in annual revenue. Your expertise will be instrumental in forging strong relationships with both government and private sector clients, driving the company's growth and market expansion. If you have a successful track record in sales and a deep understanding of the electrical industry, this is your opportunity to excel in a high-profile position.Responsibilities:Achieve annual sales targets exceeding 100 million rands.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Electrical sector.Develop and maintain relationships with government and private sector clients.Create strategic partnerships to enhance competitive market offerings.Oversee the tender preparation and submission.Organize and formulate business development plans.Responsible for public relations management with relevant entities in the government and public sector.Identify partnering opportunities in the industry to further the objectives.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.Monitor and report on sales performance.Develop strategies to meet and exceed business development goals.Lead and mentor junior business development staff.Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.Requirements:Degree in Sales or Business Development.An Electrical Engineering qualification would be advantageous.10 years of experience in a similar environment.Proven track record of achieving significant sales targets (over 100 million rands per year).Extensive experience in both government and private sector projects.Industry knowledge within the Electrical sector.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Skills:Customer CentricityCommunicationNetworkingInfluenceProblem-solvingAccountabilityIntegrityBenefits:Salary: Negotiable
