Business Development Specialist - Chemical Raw Materials

Minimum requirements for the role:Must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Plastics and/or Chemicals IndustryProven work experience as a Team Leader as well as Sales Executive with strong Financial Management track record is essentialProven sales and distribution track record is advantageousMust have experience in customer supportProficient communication and soft skills partnered with a strong business acumen is essentialEstablished customer relationships are an advantageMust have good industry and market knowledgeProven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including colleagues, principals, and customersDemonstrated skill in identifying and establishing new relationships with potential principals and customersStrong aptitude for recognizing and leveraging business growth and expansion opportunitiesProficiency in CRM Software and Microsoft Office Suite is essentialThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Developing and implementing effective sales development strategies and plans to promote products and services.Monitoring and analyzing sales data and market trends to identify and optimize new sales opportunities.Establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and principals.Identifying and building on business opportunities.Handling administrative functionality aligned with the role.Overseeing the sales supply chain.Managing employee relationships.Taking leave in agreement with team members and ensuring that the work is taken care of.Conducting email correspondence efficiently, answering emails within 24 hours of receipt to enhance the customer experience.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidates
