We have recently opened our Cape Town and Dubai offices as part of our global expansion plans.
This role is based in Cape Town, but you may service a number of territories we operate in i.e.
South Africa, Dubai, USA and the UK.

About the role We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive ticketing growth by finding and engaging with new client prospects.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious self-starter with great communication skills, willing to hunt down sales leads, help with their qualification and support the wider sales & Marketing team.

The BDR role is based in our Cape Town office and reports directly to the Managing Director: South Africa and Director of Sales.
What you'll be responsible for: Lead-sourcing and qualification across different verticals and event-types.
First point of contact for incoming prospects Working collaboratively with Marketing to develop sales campaigns and propositions.
Helping with client account administration, pitch preparation and demos.
Attending client meetings with members of the Sales team.
Requirements Ability to multi-task with excellent organisation and planning skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to spot / create opportunities.
Excellent process and communication skills.
Go-getting attitude – you're ambitious and believe you get out what you put in.
Self-starters.
You'll get trained and you are part of a team, but we're moving fast, and we need people who can think for themselves.
You must have the right to work in South Africa.
Bonus points for: An understanding of ticketing and event management, including if you have repped for events companies or created your own event.
Sales or account management experience at another fast-growing technology company.
