PURPOSE OF ROLEInstrumental in driving company growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Primary responsibility will be to generate leads, build relationships with potential clients, convert them into customers. Work closely with the Branch Manager, Sales Executive and GM to help expand our market presence and achieve revenue and GP goals in Western Cape, Northern region of North Cape down to Mosselbay.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead Generation: Identify and research potential leads through various channels including social media, industry events, networking and canvassing businesses in Western CapeOutbound Outreach: Conduct outreach to prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce our products/services and schedule meetings to explore Lead Qualification: Engage with potential leads to understand their needs, qualify their interest, and determine their fit with our offerings.CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects and update the SKYNAMO system with relevant information about leads and their status.Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on lead generation strategies, share insights, and contribute to the development of targeted outreach campaigns.Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for lead generation, prospect / customer conversion, sales and GP targetsMarket Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to enhance the customer experience. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS GENERAL Increased market shareDiversified product offering achievedEnsuring that branding remains relevant and effectiveBudget achieved (Pricing competitive, Sales & GP targets met) SKILLS Ability to take initiative and work quickly and efficientlyExperience in management may be advantageous.Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketingBusiness acumenStrong analytical and creative thinking skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsKnowledge of data analysis and report writingThe ability to understand and follow company policies and proceduresThe ability to work under pressureHighly motivated, self-driven, and resilient KNOWLEDGE ProductSocial media and other promotional technologiesCompany control processes, policies, procedures & systemsSolid knowledge of data analysis and forecasting techniquesExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesFormal schooling/ degree: MatricDiploma in business administration, finance Experience: 5+ in an equivalent and similar role in a distribution environmentComputer literate Specifically Excel as well as Word, MS Office & Outlook,SYSPRO experience advantageousBusiness acumen LanguageEnglishAfrikaans
