Join an innovative recruitment team as a Business Development Manager supporting a UK finance recruitment firm, focused on expanding business opportunities through outbound sales and client engagement. This role is ideal for a driven, self-sufficient professional with significant experience in business development. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new client relationships by showcasing their recruitment solutions tailored to the UK finance market.
Key Responsibilities
Client Outreach & Engagement: Actively initiate and build relationships with Finance Directors, Controllers, and other key decision-makers within the UK finance sector, introducing recruitment solutions to secure new business leads. Appointment Setting & Lead Generation: Set up client meetings, calls, and introductory sessions, functioning as a vital "door opener" for in-depth recruitment discussions. Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking all client interactions and progress within CRM software (e.g., Bullhorn). Solution Presentation & Negotiation: Effectively present the company's unique recruitment value proposition, addressing client needs and managing negotiations to close deals. GDPR Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensure compliance with GDPR and company confidentiality standards through NDA agreements and secure handling of client data. Requirements Experience: 5-10 years in business development, with a strong background in outbound sales and client relationship management, preferably within the finance or recruitment industry.
Skills: Proven ability to reach and engage decision-makers. Comfort with CRM systems like Bullhorn and soft phone systems for client calls. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record in closing B2B deals. Qualifications: A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
