Business Development Manager (Surveying)

Our client, in the geospatial industry is looking for a Business Development Manager, to be based at either their Cape Town or Pretoria office.Must demonstrated experience to driving business development by offering existing products, technologies and solutions within a specific portfolio, to new and existing customers. With the ability to maximize business growth and profitability in the West Africa region through the optimal promotion of products or solutions built on credible customer relations and partnerships.This position involves extensive travel into West Africa for approximately 2 weeks in any given month.Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Surveying or related engineering qualificationExperience with surveying instrumentation.Previous business development, sales or commerce experience would be beneficial.Must be fluent in French at a professional level (both written and verbal communication).Must have the necessary passport and work permits to be able to work in South Africa and travel to West Africa frequently.4-Years working on mines would be preferable, alternatively exposure to conducting business in the mining sector will be advantageous.
