A Business Development Manager (BDM) plays a critical role in the organization by driving growth and expanding market presence through strategic planning and execution.
He/ she should identify and pursue new business opportunities, forge strong relationships with clients and partners, and negotiate deals that enhance profitability and market share.
Should analyze market trends, develop business plans, and collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives.
His/ her ultimate goal is to achieve sustainable growth by leveraging their expertise in sales, marketing, and strategic partnerships.
Salary: $10 -$12 USD per hour Schedule: Dayshift Eastern Timezone (Graveyard shift) Responsibilities:   Market Research and Analysis Conduct Market Research: Identify potential markets, customers, and trends by analyzing data and market conditions.
Competitive Analysis: Assess competitors to understand their strengths and weaknesses and identify opportunities for differentiation.
Customer Needs Analysis: Understand the needs and preferences of potential and existing customers to tailor products and services accordingly.
Business Strategy Development Strategic Planning: Develop long-term business development strategies and goals aligned with the company's objectives.
Business Models: Create and refine business models to ensure profitability and scalability.
Partnership Strategies: Identify and establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures to expand market reach.
Lead Generation and Prospecting Identify Prospects: Develop lists of potential clients and business opportunities to work with the BDR.
Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build contacts and generate leads.
Cold Calling: Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media.
Relationship Building Client Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
Customer Retention: Ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention of existing clients through regular follow-ups and support.
Negotiations: Lead negotiations and close deals with potential clients and partners.
Sales and Revenue Growth Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company.
Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals and presentations to pitch products and services to potential clients.
Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, reviewing, and finalizing of contracts and agreements.
Product and Service Development Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients to inform product and service improvements.
Collaboration: Work closely with product development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for business development efforts.
Reporting and Performance Tracking Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development activities.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on business development progress, achievements, and challenges for senior management.
Forecasting: Provide sales forecasts and projections to help with business planning and strategy formulation.
