Business Development Manager - Renewable Energy

Our client, an international turnkey engineering, oil/gas, and renewable energy service provider, is looking to add a seasoned professional Business Development Manager to their esteemed team that will focus on developing profitable national and international business opportunities.Please note that only candidates who have a background in business development within the oil and gas, power generation, or renewable energy sector, with preference to those with international exposure.KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:You will have a tertiary qualification in Business Management or Engineering, coupled with 8-10 years experience in business development and strategic growth within the aforementioned sectors.You will have a proven track record in sourcing and developing new opportunities, as well as negotiating favorable terms and securing profitable projects and business opportunities nationally and internationally.You will have a solid background in reading market trends, services, and products, as well as growth areas and potential joint venture partnerships.You will have a thorough understanding of project time frames and be an effective communicator and liaison between the company, client, and partners, as well as being commercially aware of costing, pricing with suppliers, and SLA negotiations.The ability to travel extensively both nationally and internationally is essential, as well as having a finger on the pulse of industry relevant seminars, conferences, and related events.A clear criminal and credit record, with a valid passport, is essential.
