A dynamic and forward-thinking UK law firm are seeking a Business Development Manager to join one of their UK offices.
You will support the Financial Services group and will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the group, working closely with the Senior BDM.
Responsibilities involve developing and implementing strategic BD plans, enhancing client relationships, and delivering targeted and impactful business development initiatives.
The Responsibilities: Develop and execute BD and marketing plans that align with and advance the Financial Services sector strategy.Lead efforts to strengthen relationships with priority clients, and support Client Relationship Partners in managing key client panels and frameworks.Create and manage the annual BD budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise ROI and track the delivery of key objectives.Deliver strategic marketing initiatives, including thought leadership campaigns, market insights, PR opportunities, and events.Lead the creation of compelling proposals and pitches, working closely with the Bids team.Manage a pipeline of targets and use campaigns to generate new business leads.Act as a trusted advisor to partners and other stakeholders on all aspects of business development.The Candidate: Experience in business development or marketing within a professional services environment is essential.Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budget management, and proposal writing.Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial, and able to build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders.A deep understanding of the business issues impacting clients in the financial services sector, and interest in continuous learning and adapting to new challenges.Please note: Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
