National packaging manufacturing company invites applications from BDM's.
Duties
·Familiar with the manufacturing process for the
relevant products, from design to delivery;
key people involved from factory floor to leadership;
technology involved;
constraints and the opportunities.
Hands-on, experiential level
Master the multiple interfaces between product, customer need and market experience and be recognized as an expert.

·Build / Maintain current knowledge of competitors - strategy/operating philosophy, operational strengths and weaknesses, competitive behaviors, financial health and leadership skills.
·Negotiate sales contracts at the best cost to business, highest volume and highest price in the market while retaining 100% customer loyalty and respect.
·Develop relationships at all levels, within the customer base so that relevant information can be translated into negotiation points, leading to strategically profitable long-term supply contracts.
·Own the fulfillment promise of each contract.
·Continuously adapt contract / relationships to emerging circumstances
·Engage with customer & manufacturing units, to innovate along the value chain.
·Maintain current, accurate reliable database, using company's mandated systems.
·Good understanding of costings / margin analyses as per the group.
·Actively develop & source new business opportunities in chosen market segments.
Required Skills

New Business Development: 3 to 4 years
Sales Management: 2 to 3 years
Business Development Within Customer Base: 3 to 4 years
Negotiation / Contract / Pricing SLA's: 2 to 3 years
