The Business Development Manager will drive business development initiatives in our Cape Town office, including targeting initiatives, proposal support, client feedback and satisfaction programmes, and marketing and corporate social investment activities, all with the aim of developing our existing client base and securing new work, and ultimately promoting our company, services, and brand in the market. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated history of success in the market and 'closing the deal'. We would also consider External Audit Managers with a demonstrated flair and drive for New Business Development.ResponsibilitiesDriving targeting initiatives relating to prospective clients, including market research.Management of priority accounts (both existing clients and targets).Proposal support, including proposal writing and preparation for client meetings and pitches.Driving client feedback and satisfaction programs relating to priority clients.Driving any other initiatives that form part of the Private strategy for the Western Cape, as it pertains to business development.Developing new and innovative ideas to research and understand the local market, identify viable targets and create opportunities for impactful interactions.Maintaining a responsible and impactful personal market presence with the aim of promoting our brand in the market.Acting as first line of reporting and providing guidance as and when needed to our local Marketing team (consisting of two Marketing professionals at Senior Associate and Associate Level).Minimum QualificationsQualification and experience in auditing, with a demonstrated understanding of the PwC audit, audit environment, and client base.
