Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
This position requires a proactive and strategic individual with a proven track record in new business development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with potential clients, expanding our market presence, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to identify and secure new clients across the UK and Ireland. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and assess market trends, ensuring a competitive edge. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. Sales Pipeline Management: Create and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up on leads. Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and generate new business leads. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align strategies and support client onboarding. Performance Metrics: Set and achieve sales targets, providing regular reports on progress and performance to senior management. Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Feedback Loop: Gather client feedback to enhance service offerings and improve client satisfaction. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in new business development, preferably within the healthcare or recruitment sector. Track Record: Proven track record of successfully securing new clients and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth in a competitive market. Self-Motivated: Highly self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs. Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM systems such a Eclipse and other sales tools to manage client relationships and sales processes.
