Agreenco Environmental Projects (Pty) Ltd. seek to employ an experienced and results orientated Business Development Manager.
Salary: Negotiable (will be discussed during interview) Experience: The successful incumbent must possess at least seven (7) years proven experience in business development within the mining industry.
Previous experience in developing African countries, preferably mine-related in the DRC and East and Southern Africa.
Sales and project management experience will be preferred.
Relevant experience in a scientific and/or technical role will be beneficial.
Formal qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is preferred but a relevant Business qualification will be considered.
High proficiency in Microsoft Projects.
Certifications in project management or related areas will be an added advantage.
Fluent in English Valid driving license code 08 Own transport Special conditions: Proven track record of achieving targets and business growth objectives.
Applied knowledge and understanding of mining environmental challenges and solutions.
Must be willing to travel.
Valid passport and yellow fever card.
Willing and able to undertake regular business trips to developing African countries as required.
Able to pass medicals, induction and training certifications as and when required.
Clear criminal record.
Responsibilities: Develop tactical and operational plans to achieve the organization's objectives.
Develop and Implement Business Development Strategies Create and execute comprehensive business development plans aligned with the organization's goals to ensure continued growth and expansion of the organization into various countries and commodities.
Customer Relationship Management Build strong relationships with existing and new customers (including partnerships) to enhance the customer's experience, increase customer retention, grow revenue, and improve overall efficiency for the customer.
Generate Revenue Unlock and generate new revenue for the organization to ensure that the agreed sales and profit targets are met and that continued offshore work is generated through excellent stakeholder relationship management.
Collaborate with various Business Units Liaise and collaborate with various business units and teams Inherent requirements for the position: Innovative and strategic to realize business development goals and objectives.
Demonstrable initiative and passion for the environment and environmental work.
Ability to establish and maintain strong networks and interpersonal rapport.
High proficiency in MS Projects.
Proficiency in project administration Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information Technical writing skills for project documentation, reports and proposals.
Foundational knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals and milestones.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
Familiarity with relevant software tools and platforms used in project management and engineering tasks.
