Business Development Manager Are you a results-oriented sales professional with a proven track record in selling software solutions? Does writing your own pay cheque sound appealing?
About the Role As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for the full sales cycle of new business opportunities. You will leverage expertise and knowledge to convey credibility and assess customer needs. You will close deals in a targeted and professional manner and achieve set sales targets and KPIs.
Responsibilities Achieve revenue targets.Achieve activity levels as required for the BDM role.Identify new clients and new business opportunities as the primary focus of this role.Expand the account base through proactive prospecting, networking, and new logo acquisition.Create demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.Analyze market trends, sales data, and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry developments and opportunities.Provide regular reports and updates to management on account performance, forecasts, and key metrics.Effectively manage multiple sales opportunities.Requirements Proficient in CRM software and other relevant tools for managing customer accounts, leads, opportunities, and sales activities.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a similar role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams.Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.Able to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple client sales deals effectively.Legal, governance, risk, and compliance experience would be advantageous.Work in a way that works for you.
