JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager with Export experience in Southern Africa Market PURPOSE: In order to identify new business opportunities, it is necessary to establish and maintain fruitful relationships with prospective, current, and former customers, as well as to work in conjunction with executives to devise business strategies that will allow for the maximization of business reach and potential. MAJOR TASKS: The primary responsibility of the Business development manager is for driving business growth Creating development plans for future growth and development, as well as estimating sales targets and growth projections Facilitating the identification of market opportunities through various channels, including meetings and networking Conduct thorough analysis of competitor products and services to understand strategies in the market. Evaluate market trends and industry conditions to identify potential opportunities Together with the Data and Pricing analyst, recommend ideal pricing structures and sales funnels to maximize revenue and market share Identify strategic plans and processes to improve new and existing projects. Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, objectives and barriers. Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company. Work with the sales and marketing team to define new opportunities for company products. Address and resolve issues and concerns raised by team members Assist product managers in consolidating and managing data relevant to market trend and conditions Relationship management of the existing customers in the SADC region which include travel into these regions Maintaining and develop existing OE & OES business together with creating and growing new OE & OES business DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive new business growth Analyse market trends and competitor trends Create and present reports Develop new sales channels Track any trends in customer engagement SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 5 Years sales experience in the automotive industry National diploma or Bachelors degree in Business or related field advantages Export experience in Southern Africa Market Experience working in Sales in the same industry Strong knowledge of the industry, including competitors and market trends. Possess a keen eye for identifying opportunities through strong analytical and research skills.
