The BDM will focus on a) meeting potential new customers and gaining trust and deriving business from them b) generating new business leads and opportunities, and c) developing existing accounts. Turrito has a successful lead generation strategy and the BDM will need to maximise the ROI by meeting these leads and closing deals. The approximate blend of work is 80% New Business and 20% Account Management.
Roles and Responsibilities
Meeting (physically and/or virtually) potential new customers and explaining the Turrito value proposition with the intent of gaining new business.
Researching, sourcing and targeting new customers.
Ensuring that customers are made aware of new solutions and products that they can benefit from and "stay ahead of the curve."
Populate reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
Developing trust relationships with your portfolio of new and existing clients to ensure they do not cancel or churn.
Acting as the key interface between customers and all relevant internal divisions.
Management of existing accounts with regular communication.
Achieving your monthly and annual targets as per your Sales Compensation Plan (Monthly Meetings, Pipeline Growth, Targets and all other related KPI's).
Maintain and develop customer prospect pipeline for the future.
Assist with planning and carrying out sales activities e.g. online and physical events.
Develop proposals and compile customer contracts for new sales/upgrades.
Respond to and follow up sales inquiries telephonically, via email and personal visits.

Essential to have sales or solutions architect experience in the IT and/or Telecoms industry.
