The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role includes day-to-day tasks such as prospecting, lead generation, market research, proposal development, and contract negotiation. This is a hybrid role, with the primary location being in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area, but with flexibility for some remote work.QualificationsStrong sales and business development skillsExperience in the technology or digital solutions industry5+ years working experience in the ICT industryKnowledge of Design Thinking strategy and digital product developmentAbility to understand and navigate complex customer and market dynamicsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong negotiation and contract management skillsSelf-motivated and driven to achieve resultsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fieldRelevant certifications (e.g., Business Development, Sales) are a plus
