Mission As a Business Development Manager - Exploration , your mission is to grow market share, strengthen customer relationships, and achieve annual growth targets.
You will ensure the OBK (Exploration) Division remains the market leader by driving innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability while leading a motivated and diverse team.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Safety, Sustainability, and Leadership Promote safety, health, and environmental awareness in all operations.

Incorporate sustainability into business solutions to create customer value.
Lead by example, championing company values and the Epiroc business code of conduct.
Set clear goals and KPIs for team members, conduct appraisals, and ensure compliance with Business Compliance and Operating Procedures (BCOP).

Growth and Market Expansion Manage the Territory Management Strategy for OBK, focusing on fleet and potential sales across the region.
Expand customer base and improve customer satisfaction annually.
Support the integration of OBK client profiles in Salesforce for real-time collaboration and tracking.

Innovation Drive the implementation of new technologies (automation, digitalization, and electrification).
Maintain market leadership in emerging technologies and integrate them into customer offerings.
Bundle new technology solutions with capital equipment for enhanced customer value.

Operational Excellence Enhance profitability through price management and cost efficiency.
Optimize working capital management, focusing on inventory and receivables.
Ensure compliance with company policies and processes.
Maintain product application knowledge and provide sales support, including quotations, tenders, and problem resolution.

Product Portfolio Management Focus on Exploration product lines, including capital equipment, parts and services, drilling consumables, and exploration technologies.
Coordinate with the Product Company for specifications, applications, forecasting, and production scheduling.
Stay informed on competitor activities and market trends to maintain competitive advantage.
Requirements Qualifications and Competencies Educational Requirements Minimum : Grade 12.
Preferred : Diploma, Degree, or Post-Graduate qualification in a relevant field.
Experience 5–8 years of experience in sales and business development within the drilling industry.
Proven track record in sales of Exploration and/or Surface Drilling product lines.
Team management and leadership experience.
Skills Strong knowledge of OBK (Exploration) products and applications.
Excellent internal and external communication skills.
Customer-focused with the ability to meet and exceed expectations.
Proficient in computer usage and tools like Salesforce.
Self-starter with minimal supervision requirements.
Additional Requirements Willingness to travel extensively as needed.
Valid Code 08 driver's license.
