Business Development Manager

Our global logistics client is seeking a self-motivated, highly driven and innovative Business Development Manager to join their exceptional team at the head office in Kwa-Zulu Natal.Durban | Permanent | On-siteDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the target market and expand the company's customer base.Develop and implement sales targets to drive revenue growth and achieve revenue goals for the company.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.Development of sales growth plans.Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders.Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines.Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company's products and services.Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Keep abreast of industry trends and competitors' activities.Prepare and present costings and revenue forecasts to the group CEO.Conduct market research for new business opportunities.Create and implement SOPs and other related documents.Negotiate rates with suppliers where required in order to procure rate specific client requirements.REQUIREMENTS:Postgraduate diploma/bachelor's degree in business management or marketing.5 years' relevant experience.Experience in customer service, marketing or sales related field.
