This position reports to the Head of On Demand Delivery Performance. Your responsibilities will include: Deliver on sales targets focused on acquiring quality clientsCreating and maintaining a robust sales pipeline with focus on key strategic clientsConceptualise and execute on new client acquisition strategiesBe able to perform needs analysis for potential clientsFeedback to Senior Management on both sourcing strategies for new clients, and our service delivery for existing client partnershipsAble to manage data to create executable actions and report on findingsAble to work with operational teams to relay client needs or concerns to create executable actionsAble to work cross-functionally within the business to optimize client partnershipsAbility to present to and build relationships with senior managers and clientsProvide national partners with weekly and monthly performance reports around agreed SLA'sMonitor and analyze the performance of client-specific KPIs, preparing and presenting partner performance review meetings to the TDT & Takealot businessEnsure client partners are also kept accountable on all aspects of their agreed service delivery SLA's for continuous operational performanceTraveling within South African provinces as required Attributes Required: Ability to go beyond what is expectedCommercially-minded, strong negotiatorData-driven and analyticalSolutions-oriented, can-do attitude; self-motivatedExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to develop senior level relationships quickly and effectivelyStrong prioritization and time management skillsComfortable with change and excellent team playerAbility to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma3 - 5 years solution sales experience, preferably in the retail and/or software solutions industry OR Proven track record of hitting goals and targetsExperience in generating leads through physical and digital meansProven track record of delivering results in business growth and development or client acquisitionCompetence in Excel (Google Sheets) & PowerPoint (Google Slides)Experience in an e-commerce environment is an advantage The Environment: takealot.com employees are entrepreneurial and dynamic, smart, customer-centric, fun and have the shared ambition of takealot.com being the leading e-commerce company in Africa.We have fun, work hard, take ownership, work in teams to create solutions, and are always open to direct feedback/new ideas on where we can improve.We are short on ego and high on output.We are doers and not only thinkers; it's all in the execution after all.We love what we do and what we are creating.
