The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our business, specifically focusing on building and leading a sales team dedicated to driving revenue and client acquisition in the property auction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Business Strategy: Develop and implement effective business development strategies to identify and capture new opportunities.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and areas for growth.
Performance Monitoring: Set sales targets and KPIs for Agents, monitor team performance, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve team and individual goals.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that support sales efforts.
Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on sales performance and market trends.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing (preferred).
Experience in business development and team leadership.
Leadership and business development experience in real estate or property auctions will be advantageous.
Strong understanding of the property market and auction processes is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead successful sales teams.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
