Business Development Manager R480k5 Years Contract (Renewable)Cape TownA Logistics and Cold Storage Industries leader is seeking a Business Development Manager.Reporting to the General Manager, you will drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong client relationships.Develop the business sales and marketing strategy for Cold storage, Shipping and Retail outlets.Key Performance Areas Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfactionPromote the company's products/services addressing or anticipating clients' preferences and market trendsConduct research to identify and respond to marketing opportunities based on emerging trends to increase salesImplement strategies to cultivate client relationships and build a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term per targetsNegotiate to price and prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to prevailing regulations and guidelinesProvide reliable reporting to enable planning, and decision-making and to inform after-sales supportDevelop entry-level sales staff into high-performersQualities:The ability to analyse sales figures and write reportsStrong communication skills, IT fluency and negotiating skillsAbility to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertaintyTenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targetInterpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients Qualification and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related fields5+ years' experience in sales (Cold storage, Shipping & Retail), marketing or related fields.
