Business Development Manager (Ch1017)

Our client, a well-established technology company, who is at the forefront of providing world class payment aggregation and secure payment solutions, is looking for an Business Development Manager to join their growing team.The role is based in either of ther Bryanston or Stellenbosch offices.The successful candidate will act as a key interface between billers and departments within the organization by servicing current existing billers as well as identifying and onboarding new billers.Role responsibilitiesGrowing transaction volumes of current billers through the delivery of existing and new innovative solutionsSourcing & onboarding of new high-volume billersGrow transaction volumes through retailer and digital payment networksDevelop strategic partnerships and networks (banks, referral partners etc.)Identify and present innovative new solutions and strategic opportunities to grow the business and enhance business processesIn conjunction with Marketing manager, maintain marketing present at billers and payment networks\Support query management across departmentsSales volume analysis, forecasting and providing of sales processesReportingAdministration and documentationAnd any other relevant duties related to the roleEssential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience:Relevant tertiary qualification.Proven experience in a similar sales/enterprise level client relationship management role within the payments or financial services industry.Excellent communication and report writing skills.Fluent in English (Afrikaans will be beneficial).Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite).Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.Clear criminal, fraud and credit recordNote that this is a hybrid role, and will require time in office (Stellenbosch or Bryanston) General: While we would really like to respond to every application, should you not be contacted for this position within 15 days please consider your application as unsuccessful.In keeping with our client's employment equity requirements, only South African citizens will be considered.Please include your current salary and salary expectations.
