Business Development Manager : Cape Town

Matric or Senior Certification equivalent.MS Office Suite (especially Excel).Minimum of 5 years Sales experience, preferably in the Logistics Industry.Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Development of New Business:Focus on new business revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.Prepare tenders, reports, presentations, and approve rates for types of customers.Generate and follow up on qualified leads.Analyze clients' needs, propose courier solutions, and close deals.Ensure continuous follow-up on pending clients by the Sales Team.Manage and retain client relationships, providing professional service, including after-sales service and regular follow-ups.Sales Targets and Administration:Exceed sales objectives by promoting and selling courier services.Consistently achieve relevant product/monthly targets.Submit weekly call reports to the General Manager.Keep the pipeline up to date.Manage internal administrative processes.Attend meetings and submit weekly stats.Ensure commission sheets are signed off by the General Manager and submitted to HR.Product Knowledge:Learn new product knowledge and acquire improved selling skills.Stay informed about competition services and markets.Communication:Ensure effective communication between Sales Teams and supporting departments.Respond to and assist with Sales department queries.Maintain effective communication with the General Manager and colleagues.Skills:Ability to generate sales leads and close deals.Ability to work under pressure.Target-driven.Are you the person for the job?
