Business Development Manager  Logistics & Freight Forwarding (Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare)

Our client, a leader in global logistics, is looking for a dynamic professional to drive business growth and acquire new clients in both air and sea freight. If you have a strong understanding of industry compliance and experience in these specialised areas, this role could be your next big step.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business in air and sea freight, with a focus on pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and life sciences.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines regarding the transportation of healthcare and life sciences products.
Collaborate with internal teams to tailor freight forwarding solutions that meet clients' needs.
Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and freight forwarding, with at least 2 years focused on pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or life sciences.
Proven track record in business development and client acquisition in air and sea freight.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the transportation of pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and life sciences products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
A proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
