The successful candidate will play a key role in marketing and selling returnable packaging and technology solutions, contributing to a smarter and more sustainable future.
This role requires a proactive professional with a strong sales background and a passion for building meaningful client relationships across Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and North West regions.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and secure new business opportunities to meet annual sales targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies for technology solutions, including applications such as Spray, Harvest, Scouting, Asset Management, and Pruning Visibility.
Drive sales of returnable packaging solutions for harvest, storage, and equipment supply.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and query resolution.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client solutions based on specific requirements.
Conduct market research to track competitor activities, pricing, and product development.
Prepare and deliver sales reports with detailed variance analysis.
Partner with Business Innovations, Key Account Management, and inter-company teams to enhance solution delivery and resolve challenges.
Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and professional workshops.
Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary qualification relevant to sales, business, or agriculture.
5+ years of industry sales experience , with at least 3 years in agricultural supply chains .
Proven track record of closing deals and consistently exceeding sales targets .
Experience with web applications, mobile apps, RFID/barcode scanners, BTLE devices, IOT instruments , and GPS tracking devices .
Knowledge of custom factory (packhouse) integration equipment .
Strong proficiency in MS Office, CRM , and BRM tools .
