Experience:   Minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the healthcare or medical aid administration industry.  Coaching/management experience   Relationship and Stakeholder Management  Duties and Responsibilities Market Research and Analysis:  Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities in the healthcare and medical aid sectors.  Analyze industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
Identify potential clients as well as strategic partners.  Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop, and refine products and services tailored to the healthcare industry.  Provide feedback from the market to help shape product offerings and ensure they meet industry standards.  Business Development:  Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth in the healthcare industry.  Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare provid-ers, medical aid schemes, and corporate partners.  Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure.  Client Relationship Management:  Foster strong, long-term relationships with existing clients and partners to ensure re-tention and satisfaction.  Serve as a key point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring they receive optimal service.  Identify and engage with potential partners to expand the company's reach in the healthcare sector.  Negotiate contracts and agreements to benefit both the company and its partners.  Drive digital transformation: Champion the adoption of innovative digital solutions, such as online portals, mobile apps, and automated claim processing systems, to enhance customer    experience and improve op-erational efficiency.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, including sales performance, market trends, and potential growth areas.
