Red Ember Recruitment is looking for a Business Development Engineer for an International well-established Defense Industry company. We are looking for someone to further our footprint and market share. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales, developing products and solutions, and forging strong relationships with their clients.You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. To excel in this role, you should have a hunger to chase and close new business. This position involves 60% Business Related skills and 40% Engineering. The preference for Engineers as Business Developers is because of their technical engineering skills and knowledge towards detail of the products.Additional Information:Go above and beyond normal office hours (depending on workload and international time zones)Remuneration: Market-related (Depending on qualifications and experience)Experience in sales, marketing, or other related fields (Advantageous)Must be willing to travel internationally (Have a valid passport)Having strong interpersonal and communication skillsAvailability: Immediate (Advantageous)Must be well presented at all timesShow adequate IT efficiencyOwn reliable transportResponsibilities and duties will include:Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectivesPrepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelinesDevelop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are metKeep record of sales, revenue, invoices, and travel itinerariesProvide trustworthy feedback and after-sales supportDevelop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfactionConduct research to identify new markets and customer needsContact potential clients to establish a network and arrange meetings (Foreign and domestic)Identify new markets and improve salesPlan and oversee new marketing initiativesAttend conferences, meetings, and industry-related eventsRequirements:BEng Degree – Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial, Electrical, or ElectronicBCom - Marketing or BusinessMatric with at least 6 distinctions, or an average of 85% (Non-negotiable)
