About the jobJob Overview: This role reports directly to the MD and requires someone who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying new sales leads, providing administrative support for proposals, developing business relationships, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. This will require strategic planning, researching new revenue opportunities, and proficiency in delivering compelling service pitches.

Our projects might require, from time to time, working and traveling during weekends. Hence, you are used to working under pressure, with tight deadlines, and have no objections to travel, as it forms an essential part of your duties.
Responsibilities and Duties:Analyse existing and potential markets and geographies to identify business development opportunities.Conduct ongoing market research.Lead and coordinate the preparation and implementation of proposals for complex technical assignments.Track and report on pipeline and the status of proposals.Establish and maintain a customer relations management database.Develop and maintain client relationships, follow on sales opportunities.Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.Develop and assist in marketing campaigns, trade shows, etc. to increase company's brand recognition.Gather useful information from customer and competitor data.Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.Provide administrative and logistical support, including organizing meetings and conference calls with potential partners, staff, and within the BD team.Write BD-related materials including marketing one-pagers, capacity statements, and other thought pieces as well as proposal sections such as CV formatting, past performance references, and institutional capacity sections.Contribute to the quality of written content including proofreading, formatting, and editing documents.Minimum Qualifications:Highly motivated, dynamic, detail-oriented, people-person.Fluent written and verbal communication in English.Ability to work under pressure and still be effective.Excellent communication and writing skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Ability to develop and make presentations for existing and prospective customers, in a professional manner.Creativity: must be able to develop fresh ideas and strategies.Effective people skills: He/she must have the ability to handle people no matter how difficult they might seem.Ability to multi-task: Must be able to complete several tasks together and meet deadlines.Ability to work under minimal supervision.Ability to engage in new product/service/geography research for the company.Be self-motivated.Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.Results-driven focus with analytical capability.Ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices.Preferred Qualifications:2-5 years' experience - not necessarily in renewables.Previous experience in a similar position.Possession of a B.Sc. in Engineering related fields.Possession of an entrepreneurial spirit.Strong direct sales skills and a proven track record of performance.Experience working with clients.High affinity towards data and technology with ability to dive deep and analyse opportunities and processes.
