We take the time to make sure we understand the needs of both our client and candidate to ensure that we find the best of the best, making sure that you make career moves with confidence and find top employers.      The Role Our client, a well respected, JSE Listed Financial Services company, requires the services of a suitably qualified Actuarial Pricing Specialist, in their Short Term Insurance Business.    The purpose of this role is to price and manage the risk in respect of new and existing business to ensure profitability and sustainability.
The area is a high-pressure environment, and the suitable candidate needs to be able to produce high quality work while ensuring that tight deadlines are met.
    REQUIREMENTS    QUALIFICATIONS Grade 12/Matric Industry related qualification such as Certificate in financial products, Wealth Management, or Certificate in Short Term Insurance.  RE 5   EXPERIENCE Minimum 3 years experience selling Short Term insurance     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Source sufficient lead generating opportunities to ensure 10 client quotes a week/40 per month Minimum requirement of 9 policies per month Communicate with client once a a quote is required to conduct a proper needs analysis and offer professional advice.
Network with potential lead providers Report on activities - daily, weekly, monthly.
Stay abreast of product changes and enhancements, internally and externally.
Compliance with relevant legislation and standards in industry.
Maintain skills and knowledge Maintain professional dresscode and professional appearance COMPETENCIES Technical retail acumen Retail sales skills risk awareness Cross Selling
