Business Development Consultant (Sales)

Our client supply a great range of environmentally friendly food packaging within the B2B market.
Were committed to changing some trends, rewriting some rules and making plant-based food packaging the norm.
The Business Development Consultant will be responsible for building, maintaining and increasing sales revenue on targeted new and existing business customer accounts.
The successful candidate will report to the Executive: Business Development, and his/her responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Planning and execution of selling strategies;Meeting monthly and annual new business sales targets;Implementing retention and growth opportunities within identified existing customers;Marketing of the Companys range of products;Developing solutions to meet client requirements;Managing new business-related calls, queries and associated administrative duties. To qualify for the position, you should have: Matric / Grade 12;A minimum of 3 years sales experience with at least some experience/exposure to New Business Development within a B2B environment;Proven history of the achievement of sales growth within existing customers and new business;Previous experience within FMCG, catering or hospitality would be advantageous;Fluency in English (both written & verbal);A good understanding of CRM and reporting in business;Excellent professional interpersonal and communication skills;A results and self-driven work approach together with the ability to plan, set goals and work according to strict deadlines;High levels of accuracy and standards of quality in work and dealings with customers.Computer literacy in MS Office Suite is essential.Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle is essential.
