My client is seeking a Business Development Consultant (Sales Rep) with FMCG industry experience to be responsible for drawing up a call cycle of the clients who you are going to see in an area.
This includes making appointments and set these up for the following week, go out and meet with all these clients, outlets, stores.
Additionally, to open new doors and gain new clients.
This role requires travelling. Meet outlined sales targets for new business and grow national footprint. Represent the brand in a professional manner. Be consistently alert for new business and obtain new leads regularly. Implement a high touch key account methodology to delight clients. Regular and consistent meetings with new and existing clients. Ensure demand for stock can be met by managing orders. Complete sales reports and provide sales forecasts. 3+ years' experience as a Sales Rep. Must have reliable car and able to travel to and from clients. Have sound Key Account Management Methodology understanding so as to plan impactful call cycles. Proven sales experience in a B2B or B2C environment. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Passion for staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.
