Business Development Consultant Upholstery for Manufacturers About the Role:Your primary focus will be promoting and selling our range of fabrics and complementary products to furniture manufacturers across South Africa.
You will play a vital role in driving sales, building relationships, and expanding our market presence in the upholstery industry.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Customer Engagement: Actively connect with upholstery manufacturers, showcasing product benefits and driving sales.Market Development: Identify opportunities, provide tailored solutions, and promote the value of incorporating our fabric range into their offerings.Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.Market Analysis: Conduct research to stay ahead of industry trends and provide feedback to management for strategy development.Requirements: 3-5 years proven experience in sales or business development within the upholstery or fabric industry.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Goal-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel within the designated region using own vehicle.Strengths of an Ideal Candidate: Exceptional presentation and persuasion skills.Proactive, motivated, and adaptable to market changes.Commercial acumen and competitor insight.Salary Breakdown :
Basic up to R50000.00 per month plus benefits including:
Vehicle Allowance R 4500.00
Fuel Allowance R 4500.00
Cell Phone Allowance R 1000.00
Monthly Commission 3%, on excess of R 600 000 per month
The commission (the percentage rate could change on discretion of the employer) is calculated on the amount that exceeds turnover of R 600 000 per month (annually escalated by 20%) Example 3% of (R 800 000 monthly sales R 600 000 monthly target) = R 6 000.00
