Business Developer

Westmead. Opportunity exists for a driven, outgoing Business Developer to join an accredited technical training provider. A sales background is needed, and candidates must have experience in a technical training environment and/or a qualification as an Artisan.
This position will suit a sales-focused go-getter with the ability to think outside of the box.
Responsibilities include:
Actively create awareness about the brand in the KZN branch and establish a network of clients and related stakeholders.Ensure sales targets are met by promoting the company's services in the market and converting leads into sales.Collect relevant market intelligence and design a value proposition for clients.Attend industry-relevant events and stay updated on developments in the industry.Hold feedback sessions with clients, ensuring enrolment aligns with available resources, and manage the training process efficiently and effectively.Create a database of companies that can host learners for mandatory on-the-job training.Ensure that host companies comply with the SETA and other relevant bodies' requirements for hosting learners and assist companies in compliance where necessary.Act as a 2IC to the General Manager and oversee the basic day-to-day functioning of the branch.Requirements: At least three years of experience in the technical training environment (not negotiable).Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing.Familiarity with SETAs, NAMB, and QCTO administrative requirements.Ability to work outside of normal working hours.
