Business CoordinatorOur Client in the Cleaning Industry based in Durban requires a Business Coordinator to join their team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThis is an all-rounder position, aimed at growing the business and increasing Sales, while making sure that all systems are in place. This person will work closely with Suppliers, Clients, and Operations teams.Cold Calling of Clients – as part of getting new leads to feed into the Sales Pipeline.Continual updating of Supplier Database to ensure that we have competitive suppliers.Cold Calling and Following up on potential and new clients.Client Site surveys and site visits – that are usually done before Quoting.QUOTATIONS (Costing & Pricing)Preparing quotations/proposals/tenders and presentations and submission of these as part of getting new business.Involved in the negotiation stage of these deals until they are closed (working closely with the managing director).Responsible for handing over of new contracts to Site Operations (together with SHE & Quality documents).Work with Director to continually improve Costing & Pricing strategies to ensure that we are competitive.Create a clear Sales Pipeline on deals to be closed including weekly and monthly targets & reporting on these.Use Trello or other system to track this so that it is easier to track and follow up.OPERATIONSFollow up on new business achieved - Implementation of this on site.Quality and Safety Files – That are required to operate on sites (assist with making sure that this is done by the Service Providers and delivered on site) – during SHEQ handover and implementation.Co-ordinate the servicing of Hygiene Equipment on site and co-ordinating of the Servicing teams.CLIENT RELATIONSHIPSVisit current sites as part of Customer care (checking on Quality and SHE Compliance) - this part will be handed over to the Area Manager as the business grows.This allows us to understand our clients and promote upselling of other services and products.Desired Experience & QualificationMatricFinance qualification will be advantageous.Must have experience with drafting of proposals, Quotations, and Costing and Pricing.The candidate must have a flair for numbers.Package & RemunerationR15 000.00 CTC
