Mission: The DC Business Controller is responsible for financial reporting, business analysis, inventory control, and maintaining a strong internal control environment of the DC. The BC will be an important advisor to the DC management team and responsible for the Assistant Controller and inventory team. The DC Business Controller reports to the Regional Business Controller EMEA and is part of a regional team supporting EMEA.Perform, together with the Regional Centre of Excellence, all financial reporting for the DC to the Epiroc Group.Ensure Distribution Centre compliance with The Epiroc Way, policies, and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities: Assist Regional Supply Chain Manager and management team in all finance aspects.Ensure compliance with The Epiroc Way and global Supply Chain financial guidelines and policies.Support in the application process for investments and follow-up.Maintain and develop procedures for calculation and execution of cost allocation and distribution.Maintain and develop monthly closing and reporting procedures in collaboration with RCoE.Participate in projects to reduce and analyze cost-saving initiatives.Provide financial training and support to employees at all levels.Ensure appropriate risk awareness and internal control procedures are in place.Other duties assigned by the Global Supply Chain Controller, Regional Supply Chain Manager, and/or RDC Operations Manager.Ensure tax compliance with the accounting team and group tax.Review payroll variances monthly with HR Business Partner.Monthly reporting of PPM, Sales, Sales GP, IS, and BS.Monthly Transfer Price calculation.Compile and review sustain reporting data quarterly.Monthly General Ledger reconciliation review.Monthly inventory reconciliation during closing.Compile and coordinate the collection of data for the Planning process yearly.Schedule and run procurement committee meetings.Completion of supplier credit applications.Approval of invoices in M3.Review AR and AP aging monthly and coordinate meetings to address aged items.Compile and coordinate Internal audit ICFR testing.Compile and coordinate the CSA - Control Self-Assessment - yearly.Compile and coordinate Operational key control testing yearly.Coordinate Business Risk Assessment process with management team yearly.Review all inventory adjustments monthly.Journal preparation for all journals not compiled by Assistant BC.Review processes in the DC for efficiency improvements.Skills, Competence and Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of controlling, finance, or accounting experience.Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Special Knowledge, Certification, or Licenses in Finance/Controlling area is an asset.Good knowledge of MS Excel, ERP systems, MS BI, and MS Office.Good understanding of supply chain processes.Fluent in English and local language communication skills, both verbal and written.Education Qualification: University degree (bachelor or higher) in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.Behaviours: High integrity and the courage to stand up for ethical principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with all functions.Self-driven, able to work independently and take initiative.Business and supply chain oriented with effective communication skills.Ability to identify weaknesses in processes and propose solutions.Ability to adapt quickly and demonstrate flexibility.Well organized, result-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement.Excellent planning and execution capabilities.Ability to work in a team.Ability to work under pressure.Last Date to Apply: 03 December 2024
