To generate revenue for Bidvest by sourcing new clients and proactively managing the account to maximize profitability.Minimum RequirementsQualificationsGrade 12DegreeCertificate in Banking (ideal)BCom (Ideal)Relevant RE qualification (Ideal)ExperiencePrevious Experience in a Sales role is essentialAt least three years of sales experience in the financial services industry (ideal)Proficiency in IT (ideal)Duties and ResponsibilitiesFINANCETo proactively cold call and find new clients for Bidvest to meet the monthly revenue target.To educate and promote Bidvest's full product offering to clients to maximize the revenue that can be generated.Manage the profit margins through providing clients with comparative information on rates and obtaining the best rates for specific banking products.Actively grow the client base by agreed target of new acquisitions a month in order to achieve the sales target.CUSTOMER CENTRICITYCold calling, networking and proactively approaching prospective clients to sell Bidvest's value proposition.Correctly anticipate and interpret the customers' business requirements in order to get them to bank with Bidvest Bank, sell the right product to the right customer and close deals.Provide relevant timeous solutions to the client through researching the client's business in relation to the current economic climate and educating the client on Bidvest's products.Provide excellent service that will result in customer referrals and new business.Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring excellent service levels and quality to retain clients and maintain long-term relationships.Engage in continuous face-to-face and telephonic interaction with clients to proactively address their needs.Respond speedily and correctly to stakeholder and customer queries.Assist the client with innovative ways to gain maximum benefit from the products.Proactively manage the review process of clients' facilities to achieve renewal in the necessary time period.Train and assist the client on necessary systems/processes for efficient dealings with the bank.Maintain awareness of market trends to provide relevant advice to clients.On-board customers by following compliance and credit application processes.Admin SupportProvide relevant reports to track progress.Review client files and keep them updated with changes of directors, board members, and authorized signatories.Update and manage all client interactions on the CRM system.INTERNAL PROCESSBuild successful relationships with legal, credit, internal bankers, back office, and Treasury to meet clients' needs.Sign off files and work with legal and credit to ensure all necessary documents are in place and delivered to clients.Assist clients in preparing to approach the Reserve Bank if necessary.Follow up with all parties to ensure queries are resolved.TrainingStay abreast of Compliance (FICA) requirements.Knowledge of Banking products and channels.FAIS compliance.Anti-Money Laundering training.Understand the sales cycle.This position is advertised in line with our commitment to Employment Equity.
