Primary Purpose We are looking for an exceptional Banker to join Team. To generate revenue for Bidvest by sourcing new clients and proactively managing the account to maximize profitability.
Minimum Requirements Qualifications Grade 12DegreeCertificate in Banking (ideal)BCom (Ideal)Relevant RE qualification (Ideal) Experience Previous Experience in a Sales role is essentialAt least three years of sales experience in a financial services industry (ideal)Proficiency in IT (ideal) Duties and Responsibilities FINANCE To proactively cold call and find new clients for Bidvest to meet the monthly revenue target.To educate and promote Bidvest's full product offering to clients to maximize the revenue that can be generated.Manage the profit margins through providing clients with comparative information on rates and obtaining the best rates for specific banking products.Actively grow the client base by agreed target of new acquisitions a month in order to achieve the sales target. CUSTOMER CENTRICITY Cold calling, networking and proactively approaching prospective clients to sell Bidvest's value proposition.Correctly anticipating and interpreting the customers' business requirements to sell the right product to the right customer and close deals.Providing relevant timeous solutions to the client through researching the client's business in relation to the current economic climate.Providing excellent service that will result in customer referrals and new business.Taking on the role as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring excellent service levels and quality to retain the client.Continuous face-to-face and telephonic interaction with clients to pre-empt and proactively address their needs.Responding speedily and correctly to stakeholder and customer queries.Assist the client with innovative ways to gain maximum benefit from the products.Proactively manage the review process of clients' facilities to achieve renewal in the necessary time period.Train and assist the client on the necessary systems/processes to deal with the Bank efficiently.Continual awareness of market and economic conditions to provide relevant advice to the client.On-boarding – signing up customers for the first time, following the correct processes in terms of compliance. Admin Support Provide relevant reports to track progress.Review the client files and keep them up to date with changes.Update and manage all client interaction on the CRM system. INTERNAL PROCESS Successful relationship building with legal, credit, internal bankers, back office, and Treasury to achieve clients' needs.Signing off files and working with legal and credit to ensure that all necessary documents are in place.Deal with the Financial Surveillance Department to assist and prepare the client to approach the Reserve Bank if necessary.Follow up with all parties to ensure that queries are resolved. Training Keeping abreast of Compliance (FICA) requirements.Knowledge of Banking products and channels.FAIS compliance.Anti Money laundering training.Understanding the sales cycle.
